Le Precieux Arian
Our silver plated jewelry rings are based on brass, an alloy of copper (mostly) and zinc (minority) without nickel. It is a solid, malleable and above all hypoallergenic material.
Once the ring is formed, the brass is electrolytically coated with silver plating. We chose to apply a layer of passivated silver with a thickness of 3 microns. A micron is the thickness of silver that covers the jewel. In France, a minimum of 3 microns of silver is required for a piece of jewelry to be called "silver-plated".
Passivated silver is a technical process carried out by electrolytic degreasing followed by soaking in a passivation bath and drying with hot air which leaves a colourless varnish. This protective layer, like rhodium plating, slows down oxidation and intensifies the shine of the jewel. Round diameter 30 mm.

Our gold plated jewelry rings are based on brass, an alloy of copper (mostly) and zinc (minority) without nickel. It is a solid and hypoallergenic material.
