A Short History of Joan of Arc

Joan of Arc, born in 1412 in Domrémy, began hearing mystical voices at the age of 13 in 1425. She believed these voices belonged to Saint Michael, Saint Catherine, and Saint Margaret, who often appeared to her in her family garden. The first visions occurred in summer, near a large tree known as the "Fairy Tree".

At first, the voices gently encouraged her to remain pious and virtuous, but over time, their messages became more urgent. They commanded her to save France by guiding Dauphin Charles VII to his rightful place on the throne. These visions shaped her divine mission, leading her to become one of the most legendary heroines in history.
