The blade is a forged stainless Damascus crafted by Marcus Balbach, made from N690 and 45NCD16 steels folded into 120 layers and hardened to 61 HRC. Smooth Action & Thoughtful Mechanics

Blade rotation runs on a 304L stainless steel pivot with two Teflon washers for an exceptionally smooth, precise action. A fixed stop prevents the cutting edge from contacting the inner mechanism when closed, preserving the sharpness and protecting the internals of the handle.
