Caring for Your Wool Garment

Always begin by checking the care label before washing your wool garment. If machine washing is allowed, select the wool program at 30°C or below. For cashmere, keep the temperature under 30°C and use a gentle, non-chlorinated detergent to maintain softness. If your machine does not have a wool setting, choose a gentle cycle at 30°C and reduce the spin speed to 400–500 RPM. After washing, gently reshape the garment and lay it flat to dry, avoiding hanging while wet to prevent stretching. When ironing, use steam or a low heat setting. For dry garments, place a damp cloth between the iron and fabric to protect the fibers and preserve the wool’s natural texture.
