The glycerin contained in our Marseille soaps is not added glycerin, unlike so-called "glycerine" soaps. This is the glycerin naturally contained in vegetable oil. At the end of the 10 days of cooking and numerous rinses, only a tiny part remains.

The ingredient "glycerin" is nevertheless mentioned in the list of ingredients of our soaps, because there are still traces of it. The new cosmetic regulations require that all ingredients, even in trace amounts, be indicated in the list of ingredients.

Bag of shavings for laundry:
Hand wash: Dissolve 50g of shavings in 2 liters of hot water. Pour a little of the mixture obtained over the laundry, wash and rinse thoroughly. Use cold water for wool textiles.
Machine wash: Dissolve the shavings (50g) in 2 litres of very hot water, in a bottle or an old can of liquid detergent. Shake well. Pour the amount of one mustard glass (20 cl) into the drawer of the machine. It is possible to prepare your laundry in advance. In this case, the detergent may freeze in the bottle. Before each use, shake well so that it becomes smooth again.

Practical tips: Add a glass of white vinegar regularly to the fabric softener compartment when the water is hard.

To perfume your laundry, add a few drops of essential oils (lavender, tea tree, citrus fruits, etc.).

For a perfectly white laundry, add a tablespoon of baking soda or a small handful of soda crystals.
